“ I took the family out for dinner at Max410 at The Waters Edge just after Christmas. We made reservations for a table of 8. We were led to a very nice table for 8 in a corner with no delay. All the staff were very pleasant and professional. We had a toddler in our group and the staff were very good and understanding, giving my 2 year old granddaughter special attention. The food was very good. All dishes featured great portions and servings were visually appealing. All attending were very pleased with the quality dinner and service that we received. ”

“ Since the new owners of the restaurant took over, the food is much better. Has a great atmosphere outside the inside needs some work maybe I would say updating but I would go. The staff is excellent and the food is very good. ”

“ The best waterfront restaurant in the Capital District. Since the new restaurateur has taken over this establishment it has been completely transformed into an excellent place to dine on the water. The food preparation and presentation has been changed by two new professional cooks, and the drinks have always been excellent, but the selection has been updated. Ask Greg, he'll get you a fantastic drink? The new staff has been professionally trained and are very good in taking care of your needs. One drawback I didn't care for was not being seated because the third member of our party had not yet arrived. Other than that, all was GREAT! Kudos must be given to the previous owner who purchased and built at this location, although not having the experience of a restaurateur. If you have been disappointed in the past, try the new updated version you will be pleasantly surprised! ”

“ This is a beautiful spot to eat right along the river. We'd been here before under previous ownership. I tried the price fix choose three items dinner: Caesar salad, blackened salmon, and strawberry layer cake. Hubby got a house salad, the ribeye with rosemary jus with mashed potatoes and fresh green beans and roasted carrots. He also enjoyed a Manhattan and a glass of WA state cab. The waitress was very sweet and very attentive and professional. The food was extremely generous in portion and delicious. The salads were real standouts and nicely plated on rectangular dishes. I had my hopes up for the salmon with bourbon sauce that had been on the website menu, but the version that was offered with a Chipotle créma was still pretty good! Also, I love a place that serves fresh not institutional desserts and their strawberry vanilla layer cake tasted like homemade. This place is fun in the summer too when the pizza bar by the water opens up. We like to kayak up to the door. You'll feel like you're on vacation in your own town. ”

“ Came here for a wedding hosted brunch on a Sunday. At first, the group I was with walked into Max410, which is very different from this location. The staff had us take the stairs down and awkwardly left as it was obviously not the right party. The staff then directed us to this location after shrugging his shoulder. Definitely a very nice view of the river if you were fortunate to get a window seat as I did. Although the brunch was served buffet style, the food was better than I expected. This included frittata, bacon, sausage, french toast, and roasted breakfast potatoes. They may have had other items that skipped over. They also had various pastries which were also delicious. Someone came around serving coffee and empty dishes are promptly picked up. ”

“ Visited this past weekend on the way home from a competition with a large group. Restaurant was very accommodating when we called ahead and also when paying for the bill. White sangria was delicious, fruity and light. Broccoli cheddar soup was great quality. My entree was the seafood caprese pasta, looking back, little confused on if lobster was supposed to be included, but this dish was packed with flavor and made for the perfect meal. Pasta is also homemade! Outdoor seating is beautiful! ”
